DeNOX - SELECTIVE CATALYTIC REDUCTION (SCR) Technology for the recycling of nitrogen oxides in electrical, industrial and energy plants.


Nitrogen Oxides (NO and NO2) are removed from exhaust gas by mean of Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR), in which an aqueous solution of urea or ammonia is mixed with the exhaust gas as a reducing agent and the mixture is fed through a reactor filled with catalyst layers.

SCR DeNOx is designed for reducing Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) in the exhaust gas through their conversion in Nitrogen (N2) and water vapor (H2O), both natural constituents of the air.

In addition to ammonia or urea as reducing agent, the reaction needs a temperature high enough (the optimum is between 350 and 380 °C) and an appropriate catalyst selection.
